Most AI programs send everything you type to a company in America. It doesn't have to be that way. I set up AI on a computer you own, so your data goes nowhere else.
Why this matters
These are the reasons people come to me for this.
You work with customer data
Names, addresses, files, medical or financial data. Paste it into ChatGPT and it sits on a server you can't reach, often outside Europe.
You don't know what happens to it
With most AI programs it's unclear whether what you type is stored or used to improve their AI. And the terms can change at any time.
The subscriptions add up
Per person, per month, per program. And you keep paying as long as you use it. Your own setup is built once, after that you only pay for the computer and the power.
You don't want to depend on someone else
A supplier can raise prices, change things or stop. If it runs at your place, you decide when something changes.
What this means in practice
I run this myself every day and set it up for clients too. It sits on a computer you choose: a server in your office, a rented server at a European company, or a computer I set up for you.
Your own ChatGPT
It works like ChatGPT, but everything you type stays on your computer.
Automation in-house
The work that runs by itself also runs at your place, and talks directly to the programs you already use. No other company looks along.
Ask questions of your own documents
Ask a question and get an answer from your own contracts, manuals or files. Without uploading them anywhere.
Only your people can get in
Your team can reach it safely from anywhere, nobody else can. Backups are made automatically and I see it when something goes wrong.
Not everything has to be in-house
Sometimes a cloud AI is simply better or cheaper for a job. Then I make a mix: sensitive data stays with you or is made unrecognisable first, and only what isn't sensitive goes out. You know up front exactly what ends up where.

Not from a course. This is work I've done and systems I run myself.
IT management at a Microsoft reseller
For over a year I managed everything in-house there: the email, the files, the business system and the websites. Nothing at an outside company.
My own server running day and night
At home a server runs my own programs, and has for years. The same approach I use for clients, including the mistakes I've already made once.
In-house AI, in use
For EvoWebsites an assistant runs entirely on its own computer. Customer data doesn't leave.
How we go about it
Looking at what you have (free)
We go through what data you work with, where it goes now and what you want done. If your own setup makes no sense for you, I'll say so.
Choosing where it lives
On a computer in your office, or a rented server at a European company. I work out what the computer and power cost, so you can compare it with your subscriptions.
Building and setting up
I set everything up, connect your programs, decide who gets access and arrange backups. Then I test the whole thing.
Handover
It's yours. You get an explanation for your team and an overview of what is where. You're not tied to me: you can manage it yourself or leave the maintenance to me.
